TOBAM goes green

TOBAM’s commitment to reflecting environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues in our commingled funds was put into action in January 2007, in collaboration with our European clients. In early 2010, TOBAM signed the UN PRI, further formalizing this commitment. Expanding the scope of our efforts, TOBAM has conducted a Carbon Footprint analysis of its business activities. This led to the decision to compensate for 125% of CO2 emissions generated by our business activities in 2010, via the Action Carbone program sponsored by the foundation goodplanet.org.

TOBAM is convinced that successful client outcomes and sustainable corporate governance and investing go hand in hand.

TOBAM believes that this investment is an important component of its ESG efforts, and will continue to broaden the scope of its activities in this area.
