The last quarter of 2022 was marked by the collapse of FTX, one of the biggest cryptocurrency centralized exchanges. Total Value Locked (TVL) across all the different blockchains took a serious hit in Q4 2022 after the collapse of FTX.
Despite the shakeout and price declines, we fundamentally believe that this kind of crisis in the crypto ecosystem should lead through a Darwinian-type selection process which should provide a healthy environment on the long term.
