TOBAM GLOBAL BLOCKCHAIN UCITS ETF

The strategy seeks to generate performance by investing in global companies with economic exposure to Bitcoin and blockchain technologies, without investing directly in crypto assets:

– Companies in mining, brokerage, provision of hardware for mining activities

– Companies holding Bitcoin on their balance-sheet

This economic exposure is combined with an optimization: TOBAM Global Blockchain Equity strategy is designed to minimize the tracking error to Bitcoin while complying with UCITS concentration guidelines.

Over a full market cycle, the strategy aims at delivering a performance significantly correlated to the Bitcoin’s, while enhancing diversification.

The product is actively managed and does not follow an index-based management strategy, meaning its performance may differ substantially from the benchmark, which is used only to determine the global risk profile.

Note: The ETF uses swap-based replication : The ETF buys and holds a basket of securities that does not necessarily match the portfolio defined by TOBAM. The ETF seeks to replicate the strategy’s performance through a financial agreement (a swap contract) provided by an investment bank (the counterparty)
